Pine wood

To care for pine outdoor furniture, we recommend washing it twice a year. Use a soft brush and brush lightly in the direction of the grain to remove surface dirt. For more stubborn dirt, the wood can be washed with a mixture of mild detergent (e.g. soap) and water. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and then allow to dry thoroughly. All types of wood have natural imperfections, and these will become more apparent over time.
It is possible that outdoor furniture in pine wood can evolve cracks over time, especially if the wood has gone through impregnation. Cracks do not decrease the stability of the furniture but is a natural characteristic of the wood adapting to its environment.
Our recommendation is to oil outdoor furniture in pine once a year. At the beginning of a new season, check all screws and tighten them if necessary.
