Moving Parts
All moving parts on Brafab outdoor furniture need to be lubricated to extend their lifespan. Examples of parts to lubricate include the slides on extendable tables, gas springs on chairs/beds, cables, and bearings. Common lubricants such as WD-40 or 5-56 can be used. It is recommended to wipe off any excess after lubrication to prevent stains on the product or on the surface where the furniture is placed.
Depending on whether the product is kept under a roof or outdoors, the moving parts should be lubricated in the spring when the outdoor furniture is taken out, and also before storing the furniture for the winter – that is, at least twice per season, or more often if needed.
